Guinness World Records have confirmed that Fiona's three marathon world records have been recognised and validated.
Fiona isnow officially:
* the fastest woman ever to run a marathon on all 7 continents (aggregate time)
* the fastest woman to run a marathon on all 7 continents plus the North Pole in aggregate time
* the fastest woman to run a marathon on all 7 continents plus the North Pole elapsed time.
Fiona’s exploits saw her take on marathons from the North Pole to Antarctica and the highest altitude marathon in the world. While she always aimed to reach the record books, the official announcement is a welcome reward for her amazing efforts.
